Skylights
Schüco® skylight systems are divided into two main groups as self-supporting and steel reinforced systems.

  • In steel reinforced skylight systems, on the main load bearing steel structure, a second frame is constructed using aluminum horizontal and vertical profiles. Glass of suitable dimensions is then installed in this second frame.
  • In self-supporting systems, glass is mounted in aluminum profiles in horizontal and vertical planes without the need for a steel construction.

An impressive architectural structure can be achieved by making different material selection. Schüco® steel and wooden upper constructions with heat insulation for skylights can be given as a good example for this.

Schüco® skylight systems can be applied on buildings with wooden or steel load bearing structures with narrow lines. In this case, it is possible to have a very large selection of shapes and they can be applied in a very wide range. This constitutes the most impressive feature of the system.

Upper constructions can be combined excellently with Schüco® roof wings; therefore they can be used ideally in glass roofs and winter gardens.

All upper constructions allow module formats in maximum dimensions and covering for large areas.

Aluminum cover profiles presented in a wide range expands the design options.
